Our mission at Appleton & Associates ISW Ltd is to offer high quality independent social work assessments to local authorities, residential mother and baby units, fostering agencies, the family courts and more.
Our Director recognised that there was a need within the independent sector to offer a more affordable alternative to the bigger ISW assessment companies.

Using research, observations, children's voices via comprehensive direct work and direct work with their families to inform the overall assessment. We offer Independent Social Workers predominantly in the North West of England. Covering; Wigan, St Helens, Halton, Chester, Cheshire East & West, Salford, Bolton, Manchester, Liverpool, Sefton, Blackpool, Lancashire, Cumbria, Blackburn, Knowsley, Oldham, Stockport, Trafford, Wirral and Bury.

-Full enhanced DBS
- Registration with SW England
-Insurance
-Minimum of 5 years experience in frontline child protection
-They receive reflective supervision for the duration of their assignment with us.
